The winner of the 131th Startup Battle, Dubai is ETUIX!

Ten preselected startups were presented at the Startup Battle.

The Judges of the 131th Startup Battle, Dubai included:

• Anshul Srivastav, Chief Information Officer & Digital Officer at Union Insurance, Start Up Mentor;

• Imran Sarwar, Senior Enterprise Architect at Dubai Customs | Innovation Leader with accomplishments in Blockchain, AI, IoT and Smart Cities;

• Khalid Cook, Blockchain Investor and Advisor at ICObench.

In the first block, there was a panel discussion on the topic "Venture ecosystem in Dubai". The participants of which were the representatives of the Judges:

• Jason King, Managing Partner at CGS Group & Co-Creator of Flashcoin;

• Arif Saiyad, CEO at ASA Ventures;

• Anshul Srivastav, Chief Information Officer & Digital Officer at Union Insurance, Start Up Mentor.

The discussion was moderated by Alexander Soroka, CEO&Founder at Startup.Network.

The leader in terms of votes received was the project - Etuix with an average score of 3,71

Etuix comes to life by combining an ecologic philosophy, passion for fashion, design and creativity.

When advertising posters are at the end of their campaign and destined to be destroyed, Etuix recycles them, transforming them into purses, bags, backpacks, wallets, shoes, belts and much more. In 2009, Etuix becomes a real object, a perfect harmony between the Swiss planning of the concept, and the skillful "Made in Italy's" craftsmanship.
